This week we decided to let the kids be in charge of family home evening. Gage prepared the lesson and Caden got to choose the dessert. Gage did an awesome job teaching us about baptism since next year Caden will be turning 8. After that we took Esme for a walk to the park and played a game of tag. Everyone thought it was hilarious to tag mom since the only one she could catch was Caden and that was only sometimes!! I can't believe how fast my boys can run (or how slow I'm getting with age :) . After we got home and Esme was all worn out we were ready for dessert. Caden decided on Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream with sugar cones a very good choice everyone thought. It was one of the best family home evenings we've had in a long time. Way to go Gage and Caden you did a great job!!

Sounds like a fun FHE! The best ones for us moms, are when someone else prepares and presents it all!!
